Brooke Matthews serves as Program Coordinator for the Center for Hoarding’s three primary educational programs: the Professional Certificate in Community Hoarding Intervention, Community Hoarding Response, and the Continuing Education & Professional Support Program. Working primarily behind the scenes, she plays a central role in the development, organization, and ongoing management of the Center’s online training and professional education programs.

Brooke oversees the day-to-day administration of the Center’s Learning Management System (LMS), including course setup, content organization, training updates, and participant access. She manages the editing, preparation, and publication of recorded trainings, ensuring that course materials, recordings, quizzes, and other educational resources are accurately maintained and accessible to participants.

Her responsibilities also include coordinating training schedules, monitoring attendance and course completion, supporting certification processes, and communicating with participants regarding course access and program requirements. She helps maintain the Continuing Education & Professional Support Program’s on-demand training library and coordinates the administrative components of TEAM Case Consultations and ongoing professional development opportunities.

In addition to her program management responsibilities, Brooke has worked directly alongside the Center’s founder in hoarding intervention cases, providing her with firsthand exposure to the complexities of hoarding and the compassionate, person-centered approaches necessary to support individuals and families affected by clutter and hoarding.

Through her technical expertise, organizational skills, and attention to detail, Brooke helps ensure that the Center’s educational programs operate efficiently and consistently. Her work is essential to maintaining the quality, accessibility, and continuity of the Center’s training programs as they continue to expand their reach to professionals and agencies working with hoarding-related challenges.
