Requirements for Maintaining Certification

Beginning in the second year of certification, certificate holders maintain their Professional Certificate in Community Hoarding Intervention by completing the following annual requirements:

  • Maintain an active Continuing Education & Support Program membership. ($600 annually)
  • Complete 10 Continuing Education Contact Hours during each 12-month membership period. Participants may select the courses most relevant to their professional role, interests, and learning needs.
  • Complete the 2-Hour Annual Certificate Update & Refresher Course during the final quarter of the membership year.
  • Strongly Recommended (Not Required): Attend at least two TEAM Case Consultations annually, even when you do not have an active case to present.
